Hope in the Nope's

The story of the "birth of Jesus Christ" is often used as hope in troubling situations. Traditionally, we focus on Christ, but do not talk about Mary. Here is a woman on the verge of giving birth, but had no where to stay. As a result, she had to give birth sharing space with animals. Where it would have been easy to doubt the promise God gave to her; she clung on it all the more. What situation(s) are you currently in where you do not feel blessed? Where/Who are you putting your hope in?
