It’s All About Jesus
Visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking. But having an idea of what to expect can help. There are three main parts to every Sunday service at Grace and Truth: preaching, worship, and kids.
WE PREACH JESUS
And while this might mean you’ll learn some things on how to be a better person, how to have a better marriage, or how to be more fulfilled in life—that’s not really the point. Because without Jesus, nothing matters. It’s because of Jesus that we can be a better person. Only Jesus can make a marriage better. And true fulfillment is only found in Jesus.
This means we teach from the Bible, because the Bible is all about Jesus. Often we’ll go through whole books of the Bible, verse by verse, to show you what the whole Bible teaches and how it relates to Jesus.
WE WORSHIP JESUS
Grace and Truth loves diverse music. God has blessed Grace and Truth with a rich history in Gospel music. You will hear music from the “Old School Church” to the most popular song on christian radio. But more than just entertainment, our music is part of the way in which we prepare our hearts and minds to hear the word and to respond to that word.
Also, as part of our worship, we take communion together and give offerings to support God’s work at Grace and Truth. All in all, the atmosphere is casual, reflective, and open to all.
WE TEACH OUR KIDS ABOUT JESUS
Grace and Truth Kids Church is built around a simple concept: Jesus is the hero. Each Sunday, your child will learn the Bible and how it relates to Jesus in an age-appropriate way in their own kids area. The lessons are fun and approachable and taught by committed volunteers who serve Jesus by serving you and your kids.
Ultimately, the goal of Grace and Truth Kids Church is to get kids excited about Jesus and to get families talking about Jesus together throughout the week.
